Downloading and installing TCX/GPX race route files

Events that feature race routes also have a set of route files that can be downloaded and used in Garmin devices (or other navigational devices). After installing a route it will be available to follow during the event direct from the device you use. The best type of file to use will depend on the device.

Both TCX and GPX file formats can be used on Garmin 800,500 devices and Garmin 705/605 can use GPX files. We recommend that you experiment with the format that works best for your device.
