How to view the GPX File after Syncing

lebanSteve — Apr 22, 2015 05:32PM BST

I have MapMyTracks on a Samsung Galaxy S4 (android) cell phone. I have Synced with Website from the app's History file. Now how do I access it in the on-line MapMy Tracks site. I've tried a few of the buttons on the UPLOAD page, but they don't seem applicable.

This is a followup to the original question. I was able to export the gpx file from the phone to my computer. Now from your website I upload the gpx file, but I get an error message: "Oops! An error has occurred. There has been a problem with your activity file upload, it seems we cannot extract all the information we need to successfully create your activity." Any idea what's causing this?

Map My Tracks team member

When you create an account on Map My Tracks you automatically get an online account as well. Your profile is online at http://www.mapmytracks.com/lebanSteve

If you make activities private then you will only see the activities when you are logged in. You can see your own activities from either the profile page or simply at http://www.mapmytracks.com when logged in.

Please ensure you are using the same username/password on the website as you do on the phone.

There should be no need to export the GPX file from the phone as the sync will do all the work for you.

I hope that helps to get you started.
