How do I save a route so it shows up in the Routes section of the app?
Also, how can I use a route? When I go to history and select an existing route I've done and select the "use Route" it automatically loads an new activity, but I don't see the route laid out on the new map? Am I missing something?
Also, can routes be dictated over the headphones like a GPS (i.e. google maps) to direct you where to go so you don't need to be looking at the map to know where to go?

It sounds like you are doing the right thing. To use one of your previous activities as a route first go to History then choose the activity route by tapping on the options button (3 dots). Then choose Use Route. This will preload the route into a new activity page ready for you to start to use. If you do not see the route then zoom out a little as it might be positions away from your current location.
The Routes sections only displays activities from other Map My Tracks users. You can download any other activity to follow as a route.
There is no audio guidance on routes right now. Sorry about that.
